1932. Stud station 'de Busker' was founded 72 hears ago by the Kelholt brothers. It all began with the homebred stallion Coster. Coster was followed by the stallions L'invasion, Zenith and Zagreb - all renowned stallions. This was one of first stud stations to begin showing riding horse stallions under the saddle. Tjeerd Velstra showed the purchades champion of Holstein Cadet, Exact, Important and Solaris xx at the stallion selections.

Over the years many top producers have been available such as the Trakehner J. Amagun, sire of, amongst others, the top dressage horse Ampere - breeder M.R. Stassen, rider Jo Rutten - Nur Primus; Nur-Zeus; Welt-as, sire of Bonfire; Cavalier en Zirkoon.

In 1997 we bought the Oldenburger champion stallion, Magic Ronaldo. In 2002 the stallion Magic Rubinus was approved by the Oldenburger, Westfalen and Rheinlander stud book. This stallion is now on loan to the 'Landgestut' in Warendorf.

As an all-round stud station with more than 70 years of experience we have more to offer than just the insemination of your mares. We mediate in selling foals and older horses, we prepare mares and stallions for the various inspections and bring out young horses in the competition ring and offer winter livery.
